On Tuesday we will be learning how to play baseball with a real-life baseball player. At the activity center we will be playing a fun baseball game with numbered cards and 10 frames, building a number tower with blocks, lacing baseball cards, and letter Z activities.

Our Bible story this week is God takes care of the birds. Our memory verse is I am with you always. Matthew 28:20
PRESCHOOL (4): Mrs. Dragt
Welcome to baseball week!
What better way to learn about baseball than to have a real, live baseball player come and teach us how to play! It was hot, but the kids had fun! Show and share this week is to bring something in that reminds you of your favorite sport. With the weather being so nice, we decided to go outside and write our number on the sidewalk. Make sure to check them out when you come into the school! Our Jesus story this week is God sent the Holy Spirit. So, for our Jesus craft, we made Holy Spirit headbands. With the field trip last week, we didn't get to make our rainbow in a jar, so we will do that this week for science.
With next week being the last week of school. Please make sure to send their backpacks with them every day. We will slowly be taking things home. Memory Treasure Repent and be baptized. Acts 2:38
K-1st: Mrs. Eckstrand
This week our Bible lesson is Phillip and the Ethiopian. We continue to learn that we can spread God's word to all nations. The Holy Spirit will give us the words and strength. Mark 16:15 He said to the "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."
In Reading and Math both grades are finishing up classes. We will still have lessons next week too.
Math, 1st grade is adding and subtracting with bigger numbers. Kindergarten is skip counting by tens and learning tens place value/groups.
Reading, 1st grade is really discovering some important vowel and word work rules with doubles, -y, and adding endings. Kindergarten continues with a skit made by Icky.
We will be planting beans and sunflowers to see if we can grow anything 😊
Keep encouraging the kids to STAY FOCUSED. We are enjoying some extra recess with the nice weather, but we need to maintain behavior and respect as we close out the year. We've had a great year, and we want to finish strong!
2-4th: Mr. Loersch
