KINDERGARTEN: Mrs. Eckstrand

This week our Bible lesson is "the Empty Tomb”. We are celebrating Jesus' resurrection and how a lot of his followers learned about it.  The memory treasure this week is John 11:25 Jesus said to her 'I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me will live even though he dies.

In Reading, we have finally met ALL the superkids!  We now get to enjoy them as part of "US" as we form the superkids club.  We will have lots of adventures with them as we continue the year.

In Math, we have begun number bonds and adding.

In Science, we will be talking about eggs and ducklings... 😊

Our songs and instruments are coming along for our Musical night.  We keep working hard on making it all go well and smooth.

1-2nd: Mrs. Markgraf

Jesus is risen! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter celebration. We can carry Easter joy into every day of the year.

We are busy in first and second grade. In reading the first graders are focusing on words that end in "le." Second graders are learning new ways to make the long e sound.

In math second graders are growing in their knowledge of fractions. First graders are learning strategies for adding numbers up to 100.

Our Bible stories include David Sins, Absalom Sins Against David and Solomon's Wisdom. We see that God forgives even when proper honor is not shown. Our Memory Treasure is Matthew 26:41, Watch and pray, so that you do not enter into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Our students are working hard to prepare for their concert next week Friday at 5:30. Our class will be singing two songs and performing on the bucket drums. Please join us if you are able!

3-5th: Mrs. Horn

Happy Wednesday!

I pray you had a wonderful Easter and break! He is risen!

In Science, we are studying the sun, shadows, and seasons.

In Music, we are working hard to learn our songs and instruments for our big spring performance next week! We hope to see you there!

Blessings are your week!
