Here is all you need to do to participate:
1. Sign up.
2. Send form emails inviting family, friends and co-workers to support your child.

This week our Bible lesson is "Jesus is Baptized”. We learned that Baptism washes away our sins and God has adopted us to be his children. He sent Jesus at just the right time to be born and to start His ministry here on Earth. Galatians 4:4 But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son to be born of a woman is our memory treasure this week.
In Reading we met Golly, who loves the smell of /g/arbage. We will be taking our Unit 4 test as well.
In Math, we are measuring weight and capacity, then we will test on all our measurements.
We are finishing up our quarter 2 assessments and the report cards will be coming home very soon. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
1-2nd: Mrs. Markgraf
Greetings! We are back to normal classes after testing last week. It is amazing to see the students grow in so many different ways. This week our reading and spelling are continuations of last week with first grade unlocking a whole new set of "Super e" words. Ask them to show you their imaginary Super e cape. Second grade is exploring dialogue punctuation as well as reading about the Superkid friends going on a field trip.
After a few chapters about some non-arithmetic concepts, first graders are diving back into some more calculations by learning about subtraction as comparing. "If there are 10 1st graders and 7 2nd graders, how many more first graders are there?" Second grade is finishing their chapter on multiplying and dividing by 2, 5 and 10 and will move next into mental calculations.
Our Bible lessons are two more new stories to these students. We are learning about how God disciplines those who do not give glory to him. We see this when Moses did not speak to the rock to get water, God's people continuing to complain about the food he provides and Balaam and his donkey. (If you haven't heard about Balaam and his talking donkey in a while, check it out in Numbers 22.) John 3:16 is our Memory Treasure for Friday.
3-5th: Mrs. Horn
